Terms And Conditions

  • Each ticket admits one person only.
  • The event is freely-seated, on a first come, first seat basis.
  • Doors open at 9:30 for a 10:00 start. In order to get the most from the TEDxBristol event you should ensure you arrive promptly,latecomers will need to wait for a speaker change over before entering the auditorium.
  • Tickets and/or mobile tickets need to be presented at the door for entry. ID checks may be conducted for security reasons.
  • TEDxBristol reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who has tampered with, or is without, a ticket.
  • When purchasing tickets for TEDxBristol you are limited to x10 tickets per person/company. If you exceed the ticket limit, you may have any or all of your orders and tickets cancelled without notice by TEDxBristol at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
  • Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided at registration at the venue.
  • TEDxBristol tickets are non-refundable, even if you do not attend the event.
  • TEDxBristol tickets can not be resold. You may, however, transfer your booking to another person by passing on your original ticket.
  • You acknowledge that the venue, timings, speakers and programme of TEDxBristol events are subject to reasonable changes. TEDxBristol can not offer refunds where we have to make reasonable changes.
  • TEDxBristol reserves the right to remove from the venue without refund any persons behaving in a manner that compromises other's enjoyment of the show.
  • There is no entitlement to a refund where TEDxBristol is forced to cancel part or all of a TEDxBristol event due to reasons beyond our reasonable control. However, refunds may be given at TEDxBristol’s discretion.
  • Please ensure you take care of your personal possessions as TEDxBristol cannot accept any liability for them unless loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
  • Any personal information you provide to us in connection with a TEDxBristol event will be used to process your booking, for the purposes of contacting you with information relating to TEDxBristol events, shared with selected TEDxBristol Partners, and to conduct analysis for the purposes of providing future TEDxBristol events. TEDxBristol is a registered with the ICO and undertakes to handle your personal data with care, and in accordance with our data protection policy.   • By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you agree to any photographs and video recordings / livecasts taken by the TEDxBristol team that might be made public on TEDxBristol or TED websites and social media platforms.
  • TEDxBristol may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any variations become effective on posting. By making a purchase after the Terms and Conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.
  • This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree that the English courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to this agreement. However if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
